Who we are
Future Industries operates this website. We are an operational technology consulting firm based in the United States. Future Industries is the firm; “Deconversion” is one of the firm's marketing campaigns and the brand on this site. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Future Industries operating any of the firm's surfaces.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information about visitors to our websites and people who contact us through them. It applies to deconversion.net, futureindustries.com, and any other Future Industries marketing site that links here. It does not apply to any system we build or operate for a client; that data is governed by the applicable Master Services Agreement, not by this policy.
We are based in the United States and our websites are intended for visitors located in the United States. This site is not directed to people in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States.
What we collect
We collect only the information you give us. We do not buy lists, enrich contacts from data brokers, or scrape personal information from third-party sources.
From the contact and assessment forms: your name, work email address, company name, role, and any free-text description of your situation that you choose to include.
From email-gated content: your email address, and (if provided) any other field labeled on the form at the time you submit.
Automatic server information: standard web-server logs including IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp. We do not run third-party advertising pixels, cross-site tracking cookies, or behavioral profiling. We do not run third-party session-replay tools.
We do not collect financial-account information, government identifiers, health information, precise geolocation, or biometric information through this site. We do not knowingly collect any information from people under sixteen.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to respond to your inquiry, schedule introductory or discovery conversations, and send you substantive content you have asked to receive. We use server logs for security monitoring, debugging, and aggregate traffic analysis.
We do not use your information for advertising, automated decision-making, profiling, or training of artificial-intelligence models. We do not sell your information. We do not “share” your information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Who we share it with
We disclose personal information only to the categories of recipients below, and only as needed for the purposes described above.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that operate the servers on which our websites run.
- Email and customer-relationship-management providers that we use to respond to you and keep records of our outreach. When we engage one, we do so under a written contract that limits the provider to processing the information on our behalf and prohibits the provider from using it for its own purposes.
- Professional advisors (legal, accounting, audit) when needed to operate the firm.
- Government authorities when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
We do not transfer personal information outside the United States as part of our marketing operations. If we ever materially change the categories of recipients, we will update this policy.
How long we keep it
- Lead records (contact-form and email-gate submissions, related correspondence): retained for twenty-four (24) months from the date of last interaction, then deleted from active systems. Records may persist longer in routine encrypted backups, which are themselves deleted on the backup-retention schedule.
- Server logs: retained for ninety (90) days, then deleted.
- Records required by law (tax, legal, regulatory): retained for the period required by the applicable law, then deleted.
If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will (see “Your rights”).
How we protect it
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Information you submit through our forms is transmitted over TLS. Lead records are stored on access-controlled systems and are encrypted at rest using the underlying cloud provider's encryption services. We log access to lead-record systems.
No system is perfectly secure. We do not represent that ours is. If we ever experience a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Your rights
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the rights described below under your state's privacy law. We will verify your identity by replying to that email and asking you to confirm specific details that match what we have on file. You may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written, signed authorization and may verify the request directly with you.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under sixteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
International visitors
Our websites are intended for visitors located in the United States. If you access them from outside the United States, you are doing so on your own initiative and you understand your information will be processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. We do not target our marketing to the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective date” and “Last updated” lines at the top of this policy reflect the current version. If we make a material change, we will note that change at the top of the policy and, where we have a suitable email address on file, notify you by email at least ten (10) days before the change takes effect.
