Accessibility Statement

Effective date: 2026-05-01 · Last updated: 2026-05-01

Our commitment

Future Industries is committed to making our websites accessible to people with disabilities. Our target conformance standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

We treat accessibility as a property of the system, not as a layer added on top. We do not use third-party accessibility-overlay widgets; we build accessibility into the underlying components.

Measures we take

  • Design and development: we build the sites using semantic HTML, ARIA attributes where they add information beyond the underlying markup, and keyboard-operable interaction patterns.
  • Forms: validation errors are conveyed in text (not color alone) and announced to assistive technology through live regions.
  • Color contrast: we target the WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and non-text indicators).
  • Keyboard navigation: every interactive element on the site can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone.
  • Headings and structure: we use a coherent heading hierarchy so that screen-reader users can navigate by structure.
  • Audit cadence: we run automated accessibility audits during development and conduct manual screen-reader testing on changed pages before they ship.

Known limitations

We aim for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, but parts of the site may not yet meet that bar. Known limitations are tracked internally and remediated on a rolling basis. If you encounter a barrier that affects your ability to use the site, please tell us using the contact information below; reports help us prioritize.

Feedback and contact

If you experience an accessibility barrier on these sites, or if you have suggestions for how we can improve, please contact us:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Mail: Future Industries, [postal address pending — see ops/internal/can_spam_followups.md], United States

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five (5) business days.

Compatibility

The site is designed to be compatible with current major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and with current versions of common assistive technologies, including screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS), screen magnifiers, and voice-control software. Browsers and assistive technologies more than two major versions out of date may not render the site as intended.

Standards we follow

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA
  • Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, as applied to commercial websites by federal court precedent
