We should have a party! With booze, and dancing, and any other godless activity we can think of!

Thanks de-conversion.com! Especially thank you to all here who have contributed articles to the site. I know a lot of effort and soul-searching has gone into them. Finding a place of intelligent and gracious discourse has meant so much to me, has been so helpful to know I am not alone and not going crazy in leaving conservative christianity.

That’s a great idea. Can we also have BBQ’d baby communion wafers?

  • 10. Joshua  |  March 2, 2009 at 10:09 pm

Can we partake of communion? Using real wine? And cups for everyone? And real, healthy, sumptuous all-you-can-eat bread? And no pre-communion chat about how some people died because they took communion in an unworthy manner?

    Because that would be amazing…

(God, if you are listening, this is one case where a good ol’ fashioned smiting would actually be a logical argument.)

    Happy Anniversary d-C!

Let me too add my thanks for the site and the community. I stumbled across this site (providentialy?) at the beginning of my deconversion journey some 18 months ago. It has been a safe haven for me to work out my thoughts, fears & frustrstions.

    Thank you.

Attention Christian Readers

Just in case you were wondering who we are and why we de-converted.

de-conversion wager

Whether or not you believe in God, you should live your life with love, kindness, compassion, mercy and tolerance while trying to make the world a better place. If there is no God, you have lost nothing and will have made a positive impact on those around you. If there is a benevolent God reviewing your life, you will be judged on your actions and not just on your ability to blindly believe in creeds- when there is a significant lack of evidence on how to define God or if he/she even exists.
